Spicy Garlic Sauce
| 1 cup Franks' red hot sauce |
| 1/3 cup vegetable oil |
| 1 tsp sugar |
| 1 tsp garlic powder |
| 1/2 tsp freshly ground black pepper |
| 1/2 tsp cayenne pepper |
| 1/2 tsp Worcestershire sauce |
| 1 large egg yolk |
| 2 tsp water |
| 2 tsp cornstarch |
Spicy Garlic Sauce Directions
- In a small sauce pan combine the hot sauce, vegetable oil, sugar, garlic powder, pepper, cayenne powder, and Worcestershire sauce
- Over medium heat, cook the sauce until it comes to a boil.
- Reduce the heat and simmer for five minutes.
- Remove from heat and let sauce cool for 10 minutes.
- Whisk in egg yolk and water in a seperate bowl.
- add the cornstarch until cornstarch is completely dissolved. Slowly add warm sauce to egg mixture.
- Continue to whisk to create and emmulsion.
- Cover sauce and chill until needed.
