Seasoned Fries
| 1 pound Yukon gold potatoes (about 3) |
| 1 large bowl ice cold water |
| 1 tsp celery seed |
| 1 1/2 tsp celery salt |
| 1 tsp garlic powder |
| 1 tsp onion powder |
| 1 tsp chili powder |
| 1 tsp paprika |
| 3 tsp granulated sugar |
| 1/4 tsp salt |
| 1 1/2 tsp extra virgin olive oil |
Seasoned Fries Directions
- Preheat oven to 450°
- Sut potatoes into strips and place in a bowl of ice cols water and soak for 10-12 minutes, set aside
- In a bowl, stir together all the spices and set aside.
- Drain the water from the potatoes and dry thoroughly with paper towels.
- Place the fries on a large baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
- Drizzle fries with olive oil, seasoned with some of the spice mix and toss the fries until each fry is evenly and completely coated.
- Make sure the fries are spread out to a single layer, using an additional sheet if needed.
- Bake for 20 minutes.
- Remove baking sheet from the oven and sprinkle with more seasoning, stirring so the other side of the fries can be browned.
- Bake for 20 minutes more and remove when fries are a golde nbrown and crispy.
- Sprinkle with remaining seasoning if desired.
- Serve immediately.
