Moose Balls
| 2 lbs ground moose (any meat is ok if you don't have any moose) |
| 2 tsp sesame oil |
| 1 cup panko |
| 1/2 tsp ground ginger |
| 2 large eggs |
| 3 tsp garlic, minced |
| 1/2 cup green onion, chopped |
Dipping sauce
| 2/3 cup hoisin sauce |
| 1/4 cup rice wine vinegar |
| 2 clove garlic, minced |
| 3 Tbs soy sauce |
| 1 tsp sesame oil |
| 1 tsp ground ginger |
Moose rings
| 1 lb ground moose (or any ground meat on hand) |
| 1 tsp salt |
| 1/2 tsp pepper |
| 1 tsp thyme |
| 1 tsp garlic powder |
| 1 tsp soy sauce |
| 1 tsp Worcestershire sauce |
Garlic Mayonnaise
| 1 bulb garlic, roasted |
| 1 cup mayonnaise |
Moose Meatballs & Stuffed Onion Rings Directions
- For the meatballs, Preheat oven to 350°.
- Mix all of the meatball ingredients and shape into 1 to 2 ounce balls.
- Place on a cookiesheet sprayed lightly with cooking spray
- Bake for 20 minutes or until the meatballs are cooked through.
- For the Dipping sauce - mix all the ingredients and enjoy
- For the Moose rings - Cut onions into 1-inch rings and stuff with mixture.
- Dip in flour, egg, and panko.
- Fry in oil until golden brown
- For the Garlic Mayo to dip with - Roast 1 bulb of garlic in a 400° oven for 30 to 40 minutes.
- Let garlic cool.
- Squeese into mayonnaise and mix.
- Enjoy!
