Add sugar to the cream and stir to dissolve.
Add the Manila, pour the mixture into the can of an ice cream freezer.
Place the canned in the tub of freezer place and Asher, cover and fasten.
Fill the tub ¼ full with chipped ice
Turn hand slowly 5 minutes, until turns with difficultly then turn rapidly until the mix is hard.
Dana basin from the top, I removed the dasher and replace the cover. Close up hole.
Phil tub one part salt to four parts ice.
Leave packed for at least 1 hour.
Deep freeze. Remove 2 hour before serving
*I substitute thin cream for heavy cream. We also add garden fresh berries when we have them.
