Ingredients

Holiday Curried Snowball

1 8 ounce package cream cheese
4 ounces cheddar cheese, shredded
3 Tbs sherry
1 Tbs Worcestershire sauce
6 ounces mango chutney
1/2 cup green onions, minced
3/4 tsp curry powder
1/4 tsp garlic powder
1/2 tsp white pepper
1 pinch cayenne pepper
1/2 cup peanuts, finely chopped
1/2 cup coconut, grated

Holiday Curried Snowball Directions

  1. Combine cheese, sherry, Worcestershire sauce, curry powder, garlic powder, white pepper, and cayenne in a small bowl.
  2. Blend well.
  3. Line a 2-cup bowl with plastic wrap, leaving a 4-inch overhang.
  4. Press cheese mixture into the bowl.
  5. Fold plastic overhang over top and cover with another piece of wrap.
  6. Refrigerate at least 4 hours. )At this point, it may be frozen.)
  7. When ready to serve, unfold plastic wrap and invert onto a serving plate.
  8. Spoon chutney over top.
  9. Sprinkle with green onions, peanuts and coconut.
  10. serve chilled with crackers.

Notes

Note: curried snowball is best made a day or two in advance. If frozen, defrost before putting on the topping.
