2 1/2 cups pineapple chunks or tidbits |
3 cups cooked ham |
2 cups sweet potatoes, cooked |
1 1/2 tablespoons cornstarch |
1/2 teaspoon salt |
1/4 teaspoon cinnamon |
1 dash cloves |
2 Tablespoons butter or margarine |
Holiday Ham Bake Directions
- Drain pineapple chunks and save cuice. Combine pineapple with hand cubes. Prepare cooked sweet potatoes. Starting with a layer of ham and pineapple mixture alternate layers with sweet potatoes in greased 2 quart casserole.
- Combine brown sugar, cornstarch, salt, cinnamon, cloves, and butter.
- Add 2 tablespoons of butter and 1 cup of pineapple juice.
- Cook stirring constantly until thick.
- Pour mixture over the mixture in the casserole.
- Bake at 400° for 15 minutes
