Applesauce Cake
2 cups flour |
2 tsp baking soda |
3/4 tsp cinnamon |
1/4 tsp cloves |
1/4 tsp nutmeg |
1/2 cup butter, softened |
1 cup granulated sugar |
1 large egg |
1 tsp vanilla |
1 1/2 cup applesauce |
1 cup waluts/pecans, coarsely chopped |
1 cup raisins |
1/4 cup confectioners' sugar |

Notes
Combine butter and sugar, beat till creamy. Add egg.
Sift together dry ingredients and blend into butter mixture.
Add vanilla, applesauce, walnuts/pecans, and raisins
Pour into 9x13, greased, and floured pan. Bake 350° for 25 minutes or until the center springs back at a light touch to the center.
Cool completely, when dust powdered sugar over top. serve
