Ingredients

First Layer

2 cups sugar
2 eggs
2 cups flour
1 cup canned milk
4 Tbls butter or margarine
4 squares unsweetened chocolate, melted
2 tsp baking powder
2 cups chopped pecans

Second Layer

2 cups powdered sugar
4 Tbls butter
1/4 tsp peppermint extract
2 drops green food coloring

Third Layer

6 Tbls margarine
6 ounces chocolate chips

Mint Brownies Directions

  1. Beat sugar and butter together with and electric mixer until light and fluffy.
  2. Add eggs, beat until mixed in.
  3. Add melted chocolate.
  4. Add dry ingredients; then add milk and nuts.; mix well.
  5. Bake at 350° for 10 to 12 minuts.
  6. Let cool.
  7. After brownies are completely cool mix the second layer ingredients, adding enought peppermint flavoring to your taste.
  8. Mix with a mixer until cmooth, adding canned milk till layer is spreadable.
  9. Spread over the first layer.
  10. Combine all the ingredients for the third layer, melting the margarine and chocolate. let it cool a bit.
  11. Spread over the second layer.
  12. Cool until the layer is set.
  13. Keep in refrigerator until ready to eat.
  14. Cut into squares and serve.
