Ingredients
First Layer
2 cups sugar |
2 eggs |
2 cups flour |
1 cup canned milk |
4 Tbls butter or margarine |
4 squares unsweetened chocolate, melted |
2 tsp baking powder |
2 cups chopped pecans |
Second Layer
2 cups powdered sugar |
4 Tbls butter |
1/4 tsp peppermint extract |
2 drops green food coloring |
Third Layer
6 Tbls margarine |
6 ounces chocolate chips |
Mint Brownies Directions
- Beat sugar and butter together with and electric mixer until light and fluffy.
- Add eggs, beat until mixed in.
- Add melted chocolate.
- Add dry ingredients; then add milk and nuts.; mix well.
- Bake at 350° for 10 to 12 minuts.
- Let cool.
- After brownies are completely cool mix the second layer ingredients, adding enought peppermint flavoring to your taste.
- Mix with a mixer until cmooth, adding canned milk till layer is spreadable.
- Spread over the first layer.
- Combine all the ingredients for the third layer, melting the margarine and chocolate. let it cool a bit.
- Spread over the second layer.
- Cool until the layer is set.
- Keep in refrigerator until ready to eat.
- Cut into squares and serve.
