3 cups sugar |
1 cup water |
1/4 lb butter |
1 tsp peppermint flavoring |
1 drops desired food coloring |
Butter Cream Mints Directions
- Wash sides of a kettle and cook till candy reaches 250°
- Pour out onto a buttered marble slab.
- Add peppermint flavoring and desired coloring
- Streatch until full of air and it looses it coloring and gloss
- Cut into small pieces with scissors
- Let sit until dry and stor in an air tight container.
