Salad
3 large chicken breast halves |
1/4 tsp ground ginger |
1/2 tsp salt |
1 med head lettuce |
3 green onions, chopped in 1 1/2 inch strips |
2 medium tomatoes, cut into thin wedges |
1/4 tsp toasted sesame seeds |
Dressing
1 Tbs sugar |
2 Tbs vinegar |
1 Tbs salad oil |
1 1/2 tsp salt |
1 tsp Accent |
1/2 tsp pepper |
San Fransisco Chicken Salad Directions
- For the dressing, place the sugar, vinegar, salad oil, salt, accent, and pepper in a shakable bottle.
- Cover and shake well.
- To toast the sesame seeds, spread on ungreased cookie sheet and bake at 350° oven stirring occasionally until golden brown, about 10-15 minutes.
- For the salad oil the chicken with ginger.
- Cool
- Cut into bite-sized pieces.
- In a large bowl, tear lettuce into bite-sized pieces
- Add chicken, onions, tomatoes, sesame seeds and dressing.
- Toss and serve immediately
