Ingredients

Salad

3 large chicken breast halves
1/4 tsp ground ginger
1/2 tsp salt
1 med head lettuce
3 green onions, chopped in 1 1/2 inch strips
2 medium tomatoes, cut into thin wedges
1/4 tsp toasted sesame seeds

Dressing

1 Tbs sugar
2 Tbs vinegar
1 Tbs salad oil
1 1/2 tsp salt
1 tsp Accent
1/2 tsp pepper

San Fransisco Chicken Salad Directions

  1. For the dressing, place the sugar, vinegar, salad oil, salt, accent, and pepper in a shakable bottle.
  2. Cover and shake well.
  3. To toast the sesame seeds, spread on ungreased cookie sheet and bake at 350° oven stirring occasionally until golden brown, about  10-15 minutes.
  4. For the salad oil the chicken with ginger.
  5. Cool
  6. Cut into bite-sized pieces.
  7. In a large bowl, tear lettuce into bite-sized pieces
  8. Add chicken, onions, tomatoes, sesame seeds and dressing.
  9. Toss and serve immediately
  10.
