Ingredients

Brisket

5 lb beef brisket (6 pounds is also ok)
1 14 ounce bottle Chris N Pitts Sauce

Dry Seasoning Mix

1/3 cup salt
1/3 cup chili powder
2 1/2 Tbs Monosodium Glutamate
1 1/2 Tbs black pepper, freshly ground
1 Tbs garlic powder

Barbeque Beef Brisket Directions

  1. Mix all the ingredients for the "dry seasoning mixL together in a jar.
  2. Heat oven to 350°
  3. Place brisket in shallow roasting pan.
  4. Coat both sides with seasoning mix.
  5. Bake 1 hour.
  6. Brush with "Chris & Pits Sauce"
  7. Bake 4 hours longer adding sauce as needed.
