Ingredients
Meatballs
1 lb ground beef |
1 egg |
1 tsp salt |
pepper to taste |
1 1/2 Tbs onion, finely chopped |
1 Tbs flour |
1 cup chicken stock |
1 Tbs oil |
4 slices pineapple, cut up |
3 green peppers, cut into large pieces |
3 Tbs cornstarch |
2 tsp soy sauce |
1/2 cup vinegar |
1/2 cup sugar |
Polynesian Meatballs Directions
- Mix the meat, egg, salt, pepper, and onion.
- Form into balls.
- Roll in flour and fry in heavy skillet until light brown.
- Add 1/3 cup of the chicken stock, oil, pineapple, and green pepper
- Simmer over low heat until peppers are tender.
- Combine remaining 2/3 cup chicken stock.
