Ingredients

Meatballs

1 lb ground beef
1 egg
1 tsp salt
pepper to taste
1 1/2 Tbs onion, finely chopped
1 Tbs flour
1 cup chicken stock
1 Tbs oil
4 slices pineapple, cut up
3 green peppers, cut into large pieces
3 Tbs cornstarch
2 tsp soy sauce
1/2 cup vinegar
1/2 cup sugar

Polynesian Meatballs Directions

  1. Mix the meat, egg, salt, pepper, and onion.
  2. Form into balls.
  3. Roll in flour and fry in heavy skillet until light brown.
  4. Add 1/3 cup of the chicken stock, oil, pineapple, and green pepper
  5. Simmer over low heat until peppers are tender.
  6. Combine remaining 2/3 cup chicken stock.
