Ingredients
Moose Balls
2 lbs ground moose (any meat is ok if you don't have any moose) |
2 tsp sesame oil |
1 cup panko |
1/2 tsp ground ginger |
2 large eggs |
3 tsp garlic, minced |
1/2 cup green onion, chopped |
Dipping sauce
2/3 cup hoisin sauce |
1/4 cup rice wine vinegar |
2 clove garlic, minced |
3 Tbs soy sauce |
1 tsp sesame oil |
1 tsp ground ginger |
Moose rings
1 lb ground moose (or any ground meat on hand) |
1 tsp salt |
1/2 tsp pepper |
1 tsp thyme |
1 tsp garlic powder |
1 tsp soy sauce |
1 tsp Worcestershire sauce |
Garlic Mayonnaise
1 bulb garlic, roasted |
1 cup mayonnaise |
Moose Meatballs & Stuffed Onion Rings Directions
- For the meatballs, Preheat oven to 350°.
- Mix all of the meatball ingredients and shape into 1 to 2 ounce balls.
- Place on a cookiesheet sprayed lightly with cooking spray
- Bake for 20 minutes or until the meatballs are cooked through.
- For the Dipping sauce - mix all the ingredients and enjoy
- For the Moose rings - Cut onions into 1-inch rings and stuff with mixture.
- Dip in flour, egg, and panko.
- Fry in oil until golden brown
- For the Garlic Mayo to dip with - Roast 1 bulb of garlic in a 400° oven for 30 to 40 minutes.
- Let garlic cool.
- Squeese into mayonnaise and mix.
- Enjoy!
