Ingredients

Italian Noodle Bake

12 ounce pkg wide egg noodles, cooked in lightly salted water
1 lb hamburger
16 ounce meatless spaghetti sauce
2 cups mozzarella, shredded

Cream Cheese Mixture

1 heaping cup cottage cheese
1 8 ounce package cream cheese, softened
1/3 cup sour cream
1/2 cup diced onion (optional)
1 tsp basil (optional)
1 tsp Italian seasoning (optional)

Italian Noodle Bake Directions

  1. Cook wide egg noodles; drain and set aside.
  2. Brown hamberger and add spaghetti sauce.
  3. Cook for 5 minutes.
  4. In a 9 x 13-inch baking dish.
  5. Layer 1/2 cooked noodles(Run under hot water and drain to loosen.), all cheese mixture, remainning noodles and meat sauce.
  6. Top with mozzarella cheese and bake in 350° oven for 25-30 minutes.
