Ingredients

Cranberry Bread

1 cup sugar
1 Tbs grated orange peel
3/4 cup water
1/2 cup orange juice
2 Tbs oil
1 egg
2 cup flour
1 1/2 tsp baking powder
1 tsp salt
1/2 tsp baking soda
1 cup fresh cranberries or craisins
1 cup walnuts/pecans, chopped

Cranberry Bread Directions

  1. Blend sugar, orange peel, water, orange juice, oil, and egg.
  2. Stir dry ingredients into wet ingredients on a large bowl by hand, stirring 25-35 strokes until all is moistened.
  3. Blen in nuts and berries.
  4. Pour into greased 9 x 5-inch loaf pan or 2 small loaf pans.
  5. Bake at 350° for 50-60 minutes. Shorted for smaller loaves
