5 cup hot tap water |
2 Tbs dry yeast |
1 handful salt |
3/4 cup sugar |
1/2 cup olive oil |
8 cup flour (Use more or less as needed.) |
Grandma Gines' Homemade Bread Directions
- Mix and add enough flour to knead a soft, slightly sticky dough.
- Let rise until double.
- Punch down and form into a loaf and put in greased pans coated with olive oil.
- Rise again
- Bake 15 minutes at 450°, then 20-30 minutes at 350° depending on the texture and color of crust you desire.
