Ingredients

Muffins

2 cup flour
1 tsp soda
1/4 tsp salt
1 cup brown sugar
1/2 cup chopped pecans
1 large egg
1 tsp vanilla
1 cup milk
1/2 cup butter/margarine

Brown Sugar Muffins Directions

  1. Sift dry ingredients into a mixing bowl.
  2. Make a well in the center.
  3. Combine remaining ingredients and add all at once to dry ingredients.
  4. Stir quickly until dry ingredients are moistened.
  5. Drop batter by the tablespoon into greased muffin tins; fill 2/3 full.
  6. Bake at 400° oven for 25-30 minutes.
  7. Makes 12 muffins.
