Ingredients

Pumpkin Chip Drops

1 cup butter or margarine
1 cup sugar
1 cup brown sugar, packed
1 large egg
1 tsp vanilla
2 cups all-purpose flour
1 cup quick cooking oats
1 tsp baking soda
1 tsp ground cinnamon
1/2 tsp salt
1 cup cooked or canned pumpkin
1 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips

Pumpkin Chip Drop Cookies Directions

  1. In a bowl, cream the butter and sugars; beat in eggs and vanilla.
  2. Combine flour, oats, baking soda, cinnamon, and salt; add to the creamed mixture, alternately with pumpkin.
  3. Stir in chocolate chops.
  4. Drop by tablespoonfuls 2 inches apart onto a greased baking sheets.
  5. Bake at 350° for 9-12 minutes or until golden brown.
  6. Cool on wire rack.
  7. Yields 4 dozen
