Ingredients

Caribbean Jerk Sauce

3 Tbs butter
2 Tbs green onions, minced
1 cup water
3/4 cup ketchup
1/2 cup dark brown sugar
1/2 cup cider vinegar
2 Tbs hot sauce, (Cholula)
2 tsp Worcestershire sauce
2 tsp lemon juice
1 1/2 tsp cayenne
1 1/2 tsp parsley
1 tsp cornstarch
1/2 tsp salt
1/2 tsp garlic powder
1/2 tsp onion powder
1/8 tsp ground cloves
1/8 tsp nutmeg
1/8 tsp allspice
1/8 tsp sage
1/8 tsp thyme

Caribbean Jerk Sauce Directions

  1. in a saucepan, melt butter, add green onions, sauteing 
  2. Add the rest of the ingredients, blending well with a whisk.
  3. Bring to a boil
  4. Simmer for 45 minto to let ingredients blend.
