3 cups self rising flour |
3 Tsp baking powder |
1/2 tsp salt |
2 tsp confectioners' sugar |
1/2 cup shortening |
1 1/4 cup buttermilk |

Bojangles Biscuits Directions
- In a large bowl, mix the dry ingredints thoroughly
- With a pastery blender or a fork, cut in the shortening.
- Add the buttermilk, being careful to not over mix
- Roll the dough out on a floured surface until about 1 inch thick
- Cut out with a biscuit cutter
- Bake at 450° for 12 minutes or until biscuits are a golden brown
- Brush the tops of the baked biscuits with melted butter.
