Ingredients

Bojangles Biscuits

3 cups self rising flour
3 Tsp baking powder
1/2 tsp salt
2 tsp confectioners' sugar
1/2 cup shortening
1 1/4 cup buttermilk
butter

Bojangles Biscuits Directions

  1. In a large bowl, mix the dry ingredints thoroughly
  2. With a pastery blender or a fork, cut in the shortening.
  3. Add the buttermilk, being careful to not over mix
  4. Roll the dough out on a floured surface until about 1 inch thick
  5. Cut out with a biscuit cutter
  6. Bake at 450° for 12 minutes or until biscuits are a golden brown
  7. Brush the tops of the baked biscuits with melted butter.
