Ingredients

Basic Chick-fil-A Milkshake Recipe

4 cups vanilla ice cream
1 1/2 cups milk
2 tsp vanilla extract
2 tsp white sugar
whipped cream for garnish
4 whole maraschino cherries

Chocolate milkshake

1/2 cup powdered chocolate drink
chocolate syrup

Strawberry milkshake

4 cup strawberry icecream
1/2 cup fresh strawberries, capped and cleaned

Cookies & Cream milkshake

8 whole chocolate sandwich cookies
1/4 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips (optional)
chocolate syrup (optional)

Banana milkshake

1 1/2 Tbs instant banana pudding mix
5 vanilla wafers, crushed

Peppermint Chocolate Chip Milkshake

2 drops peppermint, extract (add more to suit your tastes or you can use Torani Peppermint syrup)
1/4 cup chocolate chips
6 peppermint candies, unwrapped

Basic Milk Shake recipe Directions

  1. In a blender, add ice cream, milk, vanilla, and sugar.
  2. Using the medium setting, blend until mixture is smooth.
  3. Pour into four tall drinking glasses.
  4. Garnish with whipped cream and a maraschino cherry.
  5. Serve
  6. Chocolate Milkshake: add 1/2 cup powdered chocolate drink like Quik to the blender. Top with whipped cream and drizzle chocolate syrup over whipped cream before topping with maraschino cherry
  7. Strawberry Milkshake: replace the vanilla ice cream with strawberry and add 1/2 pound fresh strawberries to the blender. Garnish with whipped cream and a strawberry.
  8. Cookies & Cream Milkshake: Add 8 whole chocolate sandwich cookies and blend as described above. You can also add 1/4 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips to the mixture. Top with whipped cream, drizzling chocolate syrup over the whipped cream and garnish with a cookie.
  9. Banana Pudding Milkshake: Add 1 1/2 tablespoon of instant banana pudding along with 5 crushed vanilla wafers to the basic mixture,  Top with whipped cream and garnish with 1 vanilla wafer.
  10. Peppermint Chocolate Chip Milkshake: Add a few drops of peppermint extract, 1/4 cup chocolate chips and a few unwrapped peppermint candies. If more peppermint flavor is desired, replace vanilla ice cream with peppermint flavored ice cream. Top with whipped cream and garnish with an unwrapped peppermint candy.
