Ingredients

Chicken Salad Sandwich

2 large chicken breasts, chopped into chunks( 2 cups)
1 tbs butter
1/3 cup celery, biced
1/4 tsp salt
1/4 tsp black pepper, freshly ground
1/3 cup sweet pickle relish
1/2 cup mayonnaise

Chicken Salad Sandwich Bread & Toppings

1 24 ounce package Orowheat 100% whole wheat bread, toasted (12 slices)
1 medium tomato, thinly sliced (optional)
1 head green leaf lettuce, spine removed (optional)

Chicken Salad Sandwich Directions

  1. Cut the chicken into large chunks and saute in butter until chicken is done.
  2. Minced the cooked chicken and place it in a  bowl (you can also puree the chicken in a food processor, but don't over do it.)
  3. add the remaining ingredients, mixing well
  4. Toast your bread, placing the salad, lettuce, and tomato, i(f desired) on top
  5.
