Lionhouse Stuffed Chicken
| 8 large Chicken breasts, skinless, boneless |
| 1 6 ounce box Stovetop stuffing, prepared |
| 1 medium Onion, chopped |
| 3 large stalks Celery, chopped |
| 1 cup Mushrooms, sliced |
| 1 cup Salted butter |
| 1 teaspoon Ground sage |
Lionhouse Chicken Directions
- Saute onion and celery and mushrooms in butter until cooked to completion.
- Add sage and chicken stock then toss together, adding only enough liquid to make it soft, not soggy.
- Divide into 16 equal parts.
Pound each breast out to 1 inch flatness, and put stuffing onto the center and roll, place on cookie sheet, secure with toothpick if need be. - Bake at 350 for 20 to 30 minutes until chicken is cooked thoroughly. Then set to broil for 5 minutes to finish browning.
