Ingredients:

1 9 inch pie shell
4 large eggs
1 cup sugar
1 cup light corn syrup
1/2 Tablespoons flour
1/4 teaspoon salt
1 teaspoon vanilla
1/4 cup butter, melted
2 cups pecan halves

Southern Pecan Pie Directions

  1. Prepare pie shell and refrigerate. 
  2. Preheat oven to 350° 
  3. Make filling-beat eggs well 
  4. Add the sugar, corn syrup, flower, salt and vanilla. Combine and beat well. 
  5. Stir in butter and pecans. 
  6. But in shell takes 60 minutes or until filling is set when gently shook.
  7. Cool-chill slightly before serving. 
  8. Top with whipped cream.
