Ingredients
Chocolate Pecan Strata
1 1/2 sticks butter, melted |
1 1/2 cup flour |
1 cup pecans, chopped |
1 8 ounce package cream cheese, softened |
1 cup powdered sugar |
1 cup Cool Whip |
1 3.9 ounce package instant chocolate pudding mix |
1 3.9 ounce package instant vanilla pudding mix |
4 cup milk divided |
Chocolate Pecan Strata Directions
- Mix melted butter, flour, and pecans together.
- Press into a 9 x 13-inch pan.
- Bake 15 minutes at 400°
- Let cool.
- Mix together cream cheese, powdered sugar, and Cool Whip.
- Pour over cooled crust.
- Mix chocolate pudding with 2 cups milk.
- Do the same with the vanilla pudding.
- Spread chocolate pudding mixture on top of cream cheese mixture.
- Spread vanilla pudding mixture on top of chocolate mixture.
- Cover entirely with Cool Whip.
- Sprinkle with shaved chocolate pieces.
- Refrigerate.
Notes
Feel free to top with more chopped pecans if you want them instead of chocolate shavings.
