Ingredients:

1 Tablespoon Flour
8 pound whole turkey
1/2 cup butter or margarine
1 dash salt to season
1 dash pepper to season
1 dash paprika to season
1 small onion, sliced
1/2 cup celery, chopped
1 large carrot,cleaned and quartered

Roast Turkey Directions

  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Shake flour in large (14"x20:) oven cooking bag and place in 12x8x2 inch baking dish. 
  2. Rinse turkey, pat dry. Brush entire surface with butter and sprinkle with seasonings. Spread onion and celery in bottom of bag; place turkey in bag and surround with carrots. Close bag with nylon tie; make 6 half inch slits in top. Bake 2 to 2 1/2 hours or until meat thermometer reads 185 degrees 
  3. Makes 6 to 8 servings.
