1 pound ground beef |
1 cup cooked rice |
1 cup cheddar cheese, grated |
1 10.75 ounce can tomato soup |
1 8 ounce can tomato sauce |
1 medium green peppers |
1 teaspoon salt |
1/4 teaspoon pepper |
1 1/2 Tablespoon flour |
1/2 cup water |
Stuffed Green Peppers Directions
- Preheat oven to 350°place a large size of an bag inside a 12 inch by inch cooking dish. Brown ground beef and onion. Drain. Add tomato soup, rice, chiles, salt and pepper.
- Remove tops in seeds from green peppers and stuffed with meat mixture. Combine tomato sauce, flower, and water. Pour half of this mixture in the bottom of the oven back. Place the peppers on top and spoon remaining sauce over all. Close bag. Bake for 30 to 40 minutes or until peppers are tender.
- For the microwave: follow the directions above. Close bag with rubber band. Microwave for 12 to 15 minutes or until peppers are tender.
