3 Tablespoons Butter
1 can Cherries in water (14 oz)
1 1/2 cup flour
2 teapoons baking powder
1/4 teaspoon salt
1/3 cup butter
2/3 cup sugar
1 large egg
3/4 teaspoon vanilla
2/3 cup milk

Cherry Upside-Down Cake Directions

  1. melt butter in cast iron skillet add brown sugar and cherries, drained.
  2. Mix butter and sugar; add egg and vanilla. Next, add flour, baking powder and salt; mix together then add milk. Pour cake mix over cherries. Bake for 20 to 30 minutes in 350 degree oven.
