Ingredients

Congo Squares

2 1/4 cup Brown sugar
2/3 cup butter, melted
3 large eggs
1 1/2 cup flour
1 tsp salt
2 1/2 tsp baking powder
1 pkg chocolate chips
1 cup walnuts/pecans chopped

Congo Squares Directions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°
  2. Beat melted butter and sugar together.
  3. Add the eggs one at a time while beating.
  4. Sift the flour salt and baking powder. Add to bown sugar mixture.
  5. Add chocolate chips and nuts
  6. bake in a greased 10x1x15.5" greased pan fir 25-30 minutes
