Ingredients

Rice

1/4 cup onion, chopped
2 Tbs butter
3 cubes chicken bullion
2 cup boiling water
2 cup instant rice
2 Tbs dried parsley flakes
1/2 tsp rubbed sage
1/4 tsp celery salt (opt.)

Simple Herb Rice Directions

  1. In a skillet, saute onion in butter until tender.
  2. Dissolve bullion in boiling water.
  3. Add to the skillet.
  4. Stir in the rice, parsley, sage, and celery salt, if desired.
  5. Bring to a boil.
  6. Reduce heat, cover and simmer for 5 - 8 minutes, or rice is tender.
