1/4 cup onion, chopped |
2 Tbs butter |
3 cubes chicken bullion |
2 cup boiling water |
2 cup instant rice |
2 Tbs dried parsley flakes |
1/2 tsp rubbed sage |
1/4 tsp celery salt (opt.) |
Simple Herb Rice Directions
- In a skillet, saute onion in butter until tender.
- Dissolve bullion in boiling water.
- Add to the skillet.
- Stir in the rice, parsley, sage, and celery salt, if desired.
- Bring to a boil.
- Reduce heat, cover and simmer for 5 - 8 minutes, or rice is tender.
