Ingredients

Cake

1 15.25 ounce package yellow cake mix
1 3 ounce package lemon jello
3/4 cup vegetable oil
3 eggs
3/4 cup water, stirred in gradually

Frosting

2 cup powdered sugar
2 TBS lemons juice fresh
1 Tbs lemon rind zest

Lemon Cake I Directions

  1. Mix the cake according to directions.
  2. Bake a t 350° for 30-40 minutes until golden and pulls away from the edges.
  3. Don't wait for clean toothpick, its too moist.
  4. For the frosting, mix all ingredients together.
  5. Poke holes in the warm cake with a fork.
  6. Spoon frosting evenly over the cake
