Ingredients

Maple Sausage Breakfast Patties

1 lb mild sausage or ground pork
1 1/2 Tbs maple syrup
1 1/2 tsp liquid smoke
1/2 tsp salt
1/2 tsp onion powder
1/2 tsp rubbed sage
1/2 tsp ground thyme
1/2 tsp freshly grated nutmeg
1/4 tsp cayenne pepper

Smoked Maple Sausage Directions

  1. Mix all of the ingredients except the sausage in a bowl.
  2. Add the sausage combining well, but too much as to make the meat rubbery when you cook it.
  3. Fry up in a skillet using medium heat for 4 to 5 minutes per side.
