1 1/2 tsp baking soda |
1/4 tsp salt |
1 tsp cinnamon |
2 cups sugar |
1/2 cup cooking oil |
4 large eggs |
2 cups carrots, finely grated |
1 20 ounce can crushed pineapple, drained |
1/2 cup chopped walnuts/pecans |
Carrot Cake Directions
- Sift together flour, baking powder, baking soda, salt, and cinnamon.
- Mix sugar, oil and eggs, then add to flour mixture
- Add carrots, pineapple and nuts.
- Bake 350° 35 - 40 minutes. Frost with cream cheese frosting found here.
