Ingredients

Beans

1 15.5 ounce can Kidney Beans
1 16 ounce can pinto beans
1 15 ounce can pork and beans
1 14.5 ounce can french style green beans
4 cups apples, peeled and thinly sliced
1 med green pepper, sliced
1 bunch green onions, all chopped
3/4 cup heinz chili sauce
3/4 cup brown sugar.

Opal's Baked Beans Directions

  1. Fry 5 pieces of bacon and crumble.
  2. In bacon grease, saute' green pepper,a dn green onion.
  3. Mix in shili sauce and brown sugar.
  4. Mix all beans together the night before.
  5. Pour sauce over beans.
  6. Toss gently.
  7. Bake at 325° for 1 hour or put in crock pot for 6 hours.
